English lessons from a teacher of English
I studied English and was an English teacher in a secondary school and also taught adults. Working in a group, you don't have enough time for everyone as a teacher. That is why I make tailor-made lessons and teach 1-on-1. Only then can you really take your English to the next level. Together, we look at your specific goals and draw up a learning plan. The lessons are generally online, but on site is also possible if it is within Leusden or Amersfoort.

Written consultation and proofreading
Perhaps you're too nervous to get in touch with me or you just don't have enough time. You can send in your work so I can have a look at it or request me to consult you. I'll take a look and write you a quote.

- Let me proofread your work I can provide explanations and suggestions in the margin so you can improve your writing skills and target specific areas of writing.
- Je presentatie laten inzien en de slides door mij laten controleren. Ik kan je ook Engelse voorbeeldzinnen geven om het wat vloeiender te laten verlopen.
- In case you ask me to consult you I'll use my expertise to guide you in the right direciton. For example, I could write you a tailored study programme and give options for materials you can use so you can study English (or Dutch) on your own.
Questions regarding English lessons
My hourly rate is €55 euros per hour excluding VAT. I'll write you a tailored quote based on your personal learning plan.
I can teach on site if it fits my schedule and it's within Leusden, Amersfoort or at what I consider a feasible distance from there. Of course I can also provide classes online. I prefer to teach on weekdays and during regular office hours.
When you let me know within 48 hours before the lesson starts, you can reschedule the lesson.
I only teach group classes if it is needed to meet the objectives of the training and the group size is limited. Imagine going on holiday with your partner, emigrating with your family or going on a business trip with a colleague. To bigger groups I only give talks or lectures about intercultural communication. These are tailored to the audience.
