Certified translation: secure and neat by registered mail

A client asked me to provide them a translation into English of a document granting them the Dutch nationality (Bekendmaking Nederlanderschap). There were only two pages but they needed to be translated with great care.

My client wanted a certified translation into English. Needless to say, it shouldn't contain any mistakes. Though I have to admit that for me personally the highest value for a translation like this is in its delivery.

I attach my translation to the source document and affidavit using an eyelet, and then carefully put my stamp and signature on it. Then I put the document in a plastic folder sleeve in a sturdy envelope or inside an envelope that's lined with bubble wrap. After that I get on my bicycle to go to the local post office here in Leusden, and drop it off using registered mail. It comes with a track and trace code that I then e-mail to my client.

This means my clients can be rest assured that their translation will be delivered in excellent state and in a secure way.
