Marriage certificate
Are you about to move to the Netherlands or emigrate? Then you sometimes need a certified translation of your marriage certificate.
It may be just a few pages, but I mostly spend my time on making sure the lay-out looks good and the document itself is crisp and clean. I check names, dates and (document) numbers multiple times and make sure all that needs to be included is included in the translation. Usually documents also have a backside with a standard text that I also take into account. Sometimes these standard texts also have multiple versions. That's why I proofread everything just in case.
So even if you have a three-page marriage certificate that has the same backside for every page, I still want a photocopy in PDF with all three backsides in the right order in the file. This way, the receiving institution/body can see that I didn't mindlessly copy the same page three times, even though they'll probably be mostly the same in translation.
Once I'm finished translating, I print, stamp, sign and attach everything. If I still see a typo or a small stain after all of this, or it just doesn't look good enough, I'll do it all over again. I treat all my translations with care and attention to make sure you'll get a certified translation that is ready to go. Are you nervous about the document? I'm happy to create an extra set of the translation for a fee, so you have another one at your fingertips should you need it.
All your documents taken care of at once
Perhaps you need translations of other certificates or official documents as well. It could be your birth certificate, perhaps an official name change or the Notification of the granting of Dutch nationality. I can also create a certified translation of those documents.
